IYKYK. That’s how I think of the best Khaite items I keep spotting on 'cool girl' wardrobes in Paris and New York, and the kind of wardrobes I pay attention to.

I’ve made it a bit of a habit to notice what actually stays. Not what’s new, not what’s trending for a moment, but what keeps coming back. The pieces that reappear, across different people, different cities, different seasons.

Khaite shows up there a lot.

The Scarlet cardigan is probably the most talked about Khaite piece, but that’s not really why it matters.

It’s the way it builds outfits because it's timeless and heavy structured .

Slightly undone, slightly heavier than you expect, cut in a way that feels a bit too low and therefore exactly right. It doesn’t try to be polished, which is why it always looks good.

I keep seeing it worn in the same way: not styled, just thrown on. With denim, with nothing underneath, with something that shouldn’t work but does.

It’s one of those pieces that changes the tone of everything else around it. Not only has this one reached cult classic, it's also a true wardrobe staple.

Now, over to more recent territory. The Everheart cardigan has that slightly undone feeling. Softer, more fluid, something you reach for without thinking.

The Lorrai cardigan feels a bit sharper and comes with a playful twist. Still minimal, but with more structure in the neckline and fit. It feels very intentional. I find this one to be very versatile, I love to pair it in different ways. My fave mix is to throw it over a dress, it builds very interesting layers.

This is where Khaite becomes a foundation.

The Danielle jean is the one you see most. High-rise, clean, slightly rigid. It creates a silhouette that instantly feels right.

The Abigail jean is a bit more fitted, with a cropped length. The fitted shaped combined with the cropped length creates a bit of a contrasting shape, which is exactly why it feels current.

And then there’s the Delina jean, which feels very current. It's wide legged and even more contrasted because of its cropped length. The jeans instantly create an outfit because of it's elegant but flattering silhouette.

I. like how none of them are trying to be perfect. That’s why they work. They each have a mood of their own, of which they just hit the right spot.

Khaite jackets don’t rely on in your face designs.

They stand out by proportion and attention to detail when it comes to quality. Both in terms of design and material.

The Shelman jacket is a standout, with it's clean lines, strong shoulders and nothing unnecessary. It sharpens everything you wear it with. But brings an effortless cool to it. Basically, that's all I look for in a jacket.

The Saraphina jacket feels slightly softer, a lot more elegant and very precise. It doesn’t overpower the outfit and still has a classical shape.

Getting even more fitted and feminine, The Samuel jacket creates a super elegant shape. This one makes you feel instantly dressed to perfection with no effort. This shape is just chefs kiss.

Both are pieces any wardrobe can built on.

The Lotus bag is the one everyone recognises, but it never feels obvious when you see it in real life. It folds into the outfit, almost disappearing into it. I love it's relaxed, practical design. That's what makes is so much better than just an obvious designer bag to me.

The Elena bag is more sculptural, a relaxed version of a classic box bag. I feel this bag is the perfect smaller sized bag. You throw it on to have fun - or when you don't have that much stuff to carry. Anyways, it makes every outfit look super chic in a relaxed way.

This is where you really start to see the Khaite point of view.

The Marfa boots do something that is very difficult very well: create the perfect low heel ankle boot. It's clean, minimal, and very intentional. They change the posture of an outfit.

The Nevada boots are timeless with the perfect angled heel. They are very sharp but while I mostly tend to take these kind of boots off after a few seconds, these stay. Not intimidating, super wearable day-to-day.

For something lighter, the Bella low pump has that subtle polish, not too feminine, not too strict.

And then the flats: the Jane flat and the Boden sandal. Both minimal, both very considered, both the kind of shoes that make everything else look better. Go-to flats for spring summer season (and beyond for the Jane).
