Accessories are my shortcut when an outfit is technically fine but emotionally… flat.
This isn’t a “more is more” category. It’s the opposite. These are the pieces that fix things quietly: a belt that makes denim look intentional, a scarf that makes outerwear feel considered, sunglasses that add character, gloves that make a coat feel expensive and ofcourse hair details that keep everything looking clean but cute.
I’m such a fan of accessories but you have to do it well. This is very important, for the sake of quality and personal style. So my rule is simple:
If it doesn’t repeat, it doesn’t stay.
If you only wear it with one outfit, it’s not a finisher, it’s a styling project. A way to keep you entertained, and the problem with that is: it will last 5 min. The best accessories do the opposite: they make the rest of your wardrobe easier and somehow make basics look like you have the most original taste (without announcing it). In short: They are a quantifier of your great style - with added uniqueness.
This edit is the good, repeatable stuff, the quiet finishers you’ll actually reach for.
