my personal signatures
I love Le Monde Béryl for making the kind of shoes that become signatures. LMB takes familiar silhouettes and makes them unmistakably their own: elongated lines, unexpected proportions and rich materials, balanced somewhere between polished and undone. From the Babouche and Luna to ballerinas, slippers, pumps and boots, this is my edit of the pairs I keep coming back to.
For me, the appeal is in the details. The designs feel distinctive without relying on obvious branding. That’s usually when I know a piece does it for me: I can rely on the design itself to carry an outfit, and I want to wear it again and again. Those are the pieces that slowly become part of your wardrobe rather than belonging to a single season.
The Babouche and Luna are where I’d start. They capture what I like most about Le Monde Béryl, but I wouldn’t stop at the signatures. Some of the pumps and boots are just as good, especially when a beautiful suede, leather or colour changes a familiar shape enough to make you look twice. I’m less interested in collecting endless versions of the same shoe than in finding the ones that add something genuinely different.
